$ANON  /  The four stages

Anon

The most used word in crypto, and nobody has ever seen a face behind it. He isn't a whale. He isn't a fund. He's sitting in a parking lot in the rain, checking the chart before he starts the engine.

$ANON The ticker is the whole point. There is nothing else to it.

Who he is

You have typed his name a thousand times

gm anon.  ser.  wagmi, anon.

It's the most used word in crypto and it belongs to nobody, which is exactly why it belongs to everyone. Anon is the person on the other side of every trade you've ever made. He's nineteen. He's forty. He works a closing shift and he's still up at 3AM because a chart doesn't care what time zone you're in.

He has never posted a portfolio. He has never been in a group chat that mattered. He found this the way everyone finds it: a link from someone who wasn't qualified to send it. He put in money he couldn't really spare, because the alternative was doing nothing for the rest of his life.

Every anon runs the same four stages. Nobody skips them.

Most people are living in one of them right now and could not tell you which.

Four stages

Everybody runs the same script

Same figure in all four. The only thing that changes is what's lighting his face.

The entry

The Genesis

The first time the screen turns green.

Forty dollars you shouldn't have spent. You check it in the walk-in freezer, you check it on your break, you check it at a red light. By the end of your shift it's four hundred and there is nobody in your life you can tell.

You don't sleep that night. You just lie there running the math. If forty did that, then four hundred does this. This is the part that gets you. Not the money. The proof that the ceiling you were promised was a lie.

The drawdown

The Bad

Down 96%. Still holding.

You size up, because the last one worked. You stop taking profit, because taking profit is for people who don't actually believe. Then it's a rug. Then it's a migration that never happens. Then it's rent.

You go back to the shift you were three weeks from quitting and you say nothing to anyone. The app stays on your home screen because deleting it would mean admitting something. This stage is quiet. It's also the longest.

The return

The Rebirth

You come back smaller, and much harder to kill.

There's no screenshot for this part. Nobody posts the six months of sizing down, taking the boring 2x, sitting out the thing everyone else is in, and finally learning to read a chart instead of a group chat.

You stop needing it to save your life, and that is the exact moment it starts working. Most anons never reach this stage. The ones who do are strangely quiet about it.

The screen lights him

Between three and four

It forks here again

Nobody stays in stage three forever. You either keep taking it, or one day you put it down and that is where the story ends.

The exit

The End

Or you close the app and don't open it again.

Some anons stop. They take the normal job, the normal weekend, the normal amount of sleep. They stop knowing what anything is trading at and after a while they stop wanting to.

That isn't a loss and this isn't a warning. It's just where that story ended. Everyone still here knows exactly how close they came to this one, and most came closer than they'll ever say out loud.

If you are in

Four steps, same as everyone

Nobody explained it to us either. This is the whole thing, start to finish.

  1. 01

    Get a wallet

Phantom on your phone or as a browser extension. Write the seed phrase on paper and never type it into anything, ever, for any reason.

  2. 02

    Put SOL in it

Buy SOL on any exchange and send it to your wallet address. Send a small amount first to check the address is right. Everyone learns this the expensive way once.

  3. 03

    Swap for $ANON

Open Jupiter or Raydium, paste the contract address from the top of this page, and swap. Check the address character by character against this site.

  4. 04

Then decide which stage you are in

That part is not a step. It is the rest of it. Only put in what you can genuinely afford to watch go to zero.

Only ever buy through the contract address published here. Buy $ANON

The whole point
